Demoulding can be eased by using release agent before casting ; demoulding under warm soapy water (if casting material is non-pourous/unaffected by water) or cutting a jaggered seam along the side.

Jaggered cuts at an angle will enable easier demoulding and will allow the re-use of the mould without seepage lines showing up on casting – remember to secure the mould with elastics before the next casting.
