Pratley Kraftex Decopodge Sealant 250ml

Pratley Kraftex Decopodge Sealant is a multi-purpose “podge” medium designed to seal, protect, and prep surfaces for high-gloss resin coatings. Whether you’re working with newspaper clippings, photographs, serviettes, or porous substrates, this sealant ensures a smooth, bubble-free finish.

To begin, make sure your surface is clean and dry. Apply 2–3 coats using a sponge brush, brushing in one direction. Allow each coat to dry for 15–20 minutes, then apply the next coat at a right angle to the previous one. This layering technique helps prevent wrinkling and transparency—especially when working with delicate paper elements.

Moreover, this sealant doubles as an adhesive. Use a roller to stick down cuttings before sealing the top surface. Once dry, it’s ready for Kraftex Pratliglo, delivering a flawless, glossy result. However, for rich wood grain finishes, use resin-based Kraftex Varnish or Seal Coat instead.

Clean tools with warm water before the sealant dries.
