White Stoneware Clay 10kg is made from a particular clay which is fired at a higher temperature of 1,200°C. This results in a more durable material, with a denser, stone-like quality.

The white colour results from low levels of impurities like iron and organic materials. Quality white clays are highly refined and filtered to remove colourants. This increases the concentration of pure white kaolin or halloysite minerals

The finished product will be waterproof and unlike earthenware does not need to be glazed.
