Delicate graphite washes, easy to blend and layer. Nothing beats graphite for drama and impact, but add a little water to the water-soluble graphite range and an exciting new world of line and wash sketching opens up. Like the Sketching Pencils, they have a wide strip which is great for quick loose sketches or you can add water to create washes and give work a softer feel.

The Derwent Sketch and water-soluble sketch pencils are round, 8 mm diameter pencils with a 4mm core strip. There is a clear white imprint detailing the range, grade and Brand name.
