Pure Sil 30 – 1.03kg
Pure Sil 20 and Pure Sil 30 are 2-part, tin-catalysed, condensation curing silicone rubbers in 20 A shore and 30 A shore hardness. Pure Sil rubbers have excellent tear resistance and exhibit low linear shrinkage. Pure Sil 20 is softer and easier to demould from fine details. Both rubbers are suitable for economical mould making for the casting of resins, gypsum, candle wax and similar materials.
Pure Sil silicone can be used to cast a variety of materials including wax, gypsum-based polymers, low melt alloys, urethane, epoxy and polyester resins. In some cases, a release agent, such as Mikon F57 aerosol wax, should be used to prolong mould life.
Pure Sil can be accelerated with a small percentage of Pure Sil Accelerator to reduce the pot life and cure time. The silicone can be thickened with RTV Thixo silicone thixotropic liquid for brush-on applications.
