Gouache

It is a water-based paint that is similar to watercolour and acrylic paint but is chalkbased, making it opaque. This paint is opaque, matte and dries faster and darker than watercolour. It is often used by commercial artists for posters, illustrations, comics and other design work.
The word “gouache” is pronounced gwash like “squash”.
