Big Ben is located at the southern end of Westminster Bridge, next to the Houses of Parliament. It is one of the most famous buildings in the UK and known as one of London’s most defining landmarks.

Big Ben is commonly used to refer to the tower as a whole, but the nickname actually refers directly to the clock tower’s largest bell, weighing a staggering 13.5 long tons. Upon its completion, the clock was known around the world as both the largest and most accurate four-faced chiming clock on the planet.
