P.S. the ‘not’ simply stands for ‘not hot’: in other words, it just means that the paper was cold-pressed rather than hot-pressed. This strange term in only used the the UK, whilst in the rest of the world ‘Not’ paper is simply called ‘Cold-pressed’ watercolour paper (medium tooth).
