Acrylic Drawing Inks
Liquid acrylic paint that is specifically designed for detailed line work and drawing. Unlike traditional acrylic paints, these inks have a thinner consistency. Which makes them ideal for use with pens, brushes or dip pens for precise applications. Here are some key characteristics of acrylic drawing inks:
Water-based: Acrylic drawing inks are typically water-soluble when wet. Making them easy to mix, dilute or clean up with water. Once dry, they become waterproof and permanent.
Highly Pigmented: These inks are known for their vibrant, intense colours, similar to those of regular acrylic paints. The pigment quality is usually very high, resulting in rich, bold lines.
Smooth Flow: Acrylic inks flow smoothly and evenly, making them suitable for various techniques. Such as fine line drawing, washes and layering. They can be used in both wet and dry applications.
Fast Drying: Like most acrylic products, acrylic inks dry relatively quickly, which can be both an advantage and a challenge, depending on your technique.
