GreenCast Fast Epoxy Resin
Bio-based, water clear, UV stable epoxy for 10-15mm thick castings
This faster version of GreenCast Epoxy Resins allows castings of 10 to 15mm thickness and much faster cure times. River tables, wood and resin combinations such as furniture, chopping/serving boards and large pen blanks.

- According to weight: 100:50*
- According to volume: 100:60*
- Potlife: +- 6-12hrs*
- Touch-Dry: +- 12hrs (longer with thin castings)*
- Full Hardness: +- 30 days
GreenCast Fast Epoxy Resin is a Bio-based, clear, UV stable epoxy for castings of 10 to 15mm thickness using the SD7160 hardener. One can use our range of epoxy pigments to colour. This product is a casting resin, not a coating resin.
The open surface typically needs to be flatted and polished to achieve a perfectly flat, glossy finish. Add Surf Clear Evo to produce a high gloss, flat finish to the open surface. UV Stability.
It will resist yellowing and is water resistant, however, it does not provide 100% UV protection and is not suitable for permanent, outdoor exposure. UV protection can be improved by overcoating with protective urethane paint such as TopClear or UV resistant wax polish. Curing Time – Depends on the ambient temperature but around 12hrs to touch-dry, but longer in thin castings.
Allow at least 48hrs before attempting to do any finishing work on the resin. The epoxy will take about 30 days to reach full hardness.
