Paper glaze – Zellen

Zellen paper glaze is a product that can be used on paper crafts, watercolour, acrylic paints and more to create various effects. It is an acid-free, thick, glossy varnish that can be used to create 3D effects or simply to create a gloss layer over artworks or craft projects.

When used with watercolour – it will not make your colours run or smudge as it is not water-based

Application

Use any sort of brush, we recommend a synthetic acrylic brush as they are soft, yet still springy and firm.

Use a pin to burst any air bubbles on glazed piece

To clean your brush use thinners or acetone. Remember to clean your brush as soon as you are done.

Drying time for the paper glaze is 24 hours but you will notice it becomes touch-dry in about an hour or two depending on the thickness. And if you’re wanting to thin down the glaze you can add a little bit of 95% ethanol/ alcohol until you reach the desired consistency.

Paper glaze is permanent and can not be removed
